Meet the Director

Yonina (Silverman) Rosenthal

Yonina (Silverman) Rosenthal is originally from New Jersey and currently lives in Jerusalem with her husband, Gabi, and their two sons. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Judaic Studies from Hunter College, as well as a double master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Jewish Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. For the past five years, Yonina has served as the Director of Summer Programs at JLIC, where she has helped over 600 students secure summer internships at Israeli companies across a wide range of industries. She has built a database of more than 300 companies and has spent significant time learning about their hiring cultures and workforce needs. Emily Grossman

Emily Grossman is originally from New Jersey and currently lives in Jerusalem. She holds a degree in Communications and Marketing with a minor in Business from Reichman University. Emily has worked extensively in intern placement, career coordination, and professional development, helping students and young adults turn their interests and skills into real world opportunities in Israel. She previously served as a Placement Coordinator at Destination Israel, where she interviewed participants, assessed their strengths and goals, and successfully placed them in internships aligned with their fields of interest.
