Yonina (Silverman) Rosenthal is originally from New Jersey and currently lives in Jerusalem with her husband, Gabi, and their two sons. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Judaic Studies from Hunter College, as well as a double master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Jewish Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. For the past five years, Yonina has served as the Director of Summer Programs at JLIC, where she has helped over 600 students secure summer internships at Israeli companies across a wide range of industries. She has built a database of more than 300 companies and has spent significant time learning about their hiring cultures and workforce needs.
In addition, Yonina runs CareerForward: the Jewish Impact Fellowship, a JLIC fellowship based in the United States that trains and supports college students interested in pursuing careers in the Jewish nonprofit sector.
Across both roles, Yonina brings extensive experience in career preparation, professional development, and job placement. She is passionate about helping young professionals—both in Israel and abroad—gain the confidence, skills, and guidance needed to successfully navigate their career paths and thrive in the workforce.
